Greenerwave in Conversation with President Macron: Shaping the Future of Sovereign Satellite Connectivity
Our CEO, Geoffroy Lerosey, had the honour of a privileged exchange with the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, last week during his visit to the Space Hub at the Paris Air Show.
On this occasion, he was able to highlight how the multi-orbit SATCOM terminals (LEO/GEO) we are developing at Greenerwave – energy-efficient, cost-effective, and sovereignty-driven – are crucial to strengthening EU’s strategic autonomy in the sector.
This discussion strongly echoed the President’s speech delivered just moments earlier, in which he reaffirmed his ambition to place Eutelsat One Web at the core of France’s & Europe’s space strategy. A strategy focused on resilience, sovereignty, and the development of a complete industrial ecosystem around satellite connectivity – a vision we fully support and to which we are proud to contribute.
We also had the great pleasure of welcoming François Jacq, CEO of Centre National d’Études Spatiales, to our stand. We discussed the evolving dynamics of the French space ecosystem and its priorities for the years ahead. We were also honoured by the visit of Benjamin Haddad, France’s Minister Delegate for European Affairs. 🇪🇺
