Greenerwave Notified by the DGA of the CAMELEON Framework Agreement for a Maximum Amount of 120 Million Euros
We are very pleased to announce that the French Defence Procurement Agency (DGA – Direction générale de l’armement) has awarded Greenerwave the CAMELEON framework agreement, aimed at developing the next generation of satellite communication terminals for the French Armed Forces. 🛰️🇫🇷
As the lead contractor under the framework agreement and owner of the proprietary technology, Greenerwave will rely on a leading industrial ecosystem bringing together Airbus Defence and Space and Thales to design a new generation of SATCOM terminals, tailored to the rapid transformation of the space sector and to the operational requirements of the armed forces.
With a duration of 7 years and a maximum value of €120 million, this framework agreement will enable the award of subsequent contracts to meet the needs of the Ministry of the Armed Forces in the field of satellite communications. A market covering a particularly broad scope, encompassing all major satellite orbits – Low Earth Orbit (LEO), Medium Earth Orbit (MEO), and Geostationary Orbit (GEO) – as well as all the main frequency bands.
💡 This marks the culmination of several years of innovation and collaboration with the DGA around our sovereign low-power electronically steered antenna technology.
